"The wild is a mirror of the world within us.
Art is what we make of its revelations."

Snow-covered mountain peaks beneath blue sky and drifting clouds

Wild Places & Open Skies

Landscapes shaped by light, weather, distance, and scale—the places that remind us how small we are.

Open Edition

Life without pretense—instinct, survival, tenderness, and the ancient pull to belong.

Wonder in the Ordinary

The overlooked details and familiar places that reward a closer look.

Revelations

Sometimes, nature quiets us—

not because it is gentle,

but because it is older than our urgency.

A heron standing motionless in the shallows.

A mountain holding its silence.

A long breath of water moving toward the shore.

We look outward

and begin to recognize something in ourselves.

Patience.

Restlessness.

Solitude.

Hunger.

Survival.

The urge to depart.

The longing to remain.

There are storms that split the sky.

Waves that arrive without apology.

Rivers that carve through stone.

And still, there is renewal.

Sometimes the landscape gives a name
to the weight we have carried without one.

We stand small beneath the sky,

waiting for answers.

The wild offers no answers.

Only mirrors.

And in that revelation,

something becomes visible:

What we fear.

What we survived.

What we are becoming.

What refuses to disappear.

A photograph.

A line of poetry.

A mark on paper.

A story.

I saw this.

I saw myself.
